LEWP published a booklet about the history and ecology of the watershed entitled A Journey Through Lower Esopus Creek. The 50-page booklet provides an overview of the creek hydrology and history. It also describes the unique fish, flora and wildlife within the watershed. This is a valuable resource for residents of the Lower Esopus Creek watershed.
The development of the booklet was funded primarily through a grant from the New York State Environmental Protection Fund through the Hudson River Estuary Program of the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation. LEWP is grateful to all the authors and contributors of this project.
The free booklet is available in print-form from local municipalities or in PDF format by clicking on the book cover image to the left or on the button on the left sidebar.
